The Brief

A Trainer With a Niche Nobody Else Owned

Andrew is a personal trainer in Los Angeles with a built-in differentiator most brands would bury: he's obsessed with anime. The same shows his clients watch. He uses that shared passion to get people in the gym and keep them there.

The challenge wasn't finding a hook — the hook was obvious. The challenge was building a brand around it that didn't alienate beginners. Andrew's clientele isn't just die-hard fans. It's also people who just need the right guide, who happen to connect with him through shared culture.

He needed a full brand system: identity, voice, content strategy, and a client operations kit — everything to launch and run the business professionally from day one.

The Name
Iron + Arc
Iron = the weight you lift. The metal you forge yourself into.
Arc = your story. Every great character has one.

Visual Identity

Two Logos. One System.

Two logo directions for different contexts — a full wordmark for marketing and a crest monogram for watermarks, merchandise, and profile pictures. Both work independently. Neither dilutes the other.

Iron Arc Wordmark
Full Wordmark
Barbell + sword icon above "IRON ARC / STRENGTH TRAINING" in purple-to-orange gradient. Use on merch, social bios, websites, marketing materials.
Iron Arc Crest Monogram
Crest Monogram
Stylized "IA" lettermark inside a shield with a sword through it, silver on black. Use on pocket logos, watermarks, embroidery, profile pictures.

Brand Voice

Hype. Nerdy. Never Corporate.

The voice is the brand. Andrew talks the way he trains — loud, genuine, always in your corner. Anime references aren't the gimmick. They're the language. The rules: celebrate every win like a boss fight victory, make beginners feel like main characters from day one, and never shame anyone for where they're starting.

Iron Arc Always
  • Celebrates every win like it's a level up
  • Uses anime as the language, not the punchline
  • Makes beginners feel like the main character
  • Shares Andrew's grind authentically — multiple jobs, real hustle
  • Hype, funny, nerdy, motivational
  • Talks to people, not at them
Iron Arc Never
  • Corporate or clinical language
  • Body shaming or before/after guilt
  • Anime as a gimmick that excludes non-fans
  • Gatekeeping who "deserves" to train
  • Generic fitness motivation clichés
  • Anything that sounds like a chain gym ad
Sample Post Copy
ARC MOMENT POST
EPISODE 23: POWER LEVEL UNLOCKED.
[Client] just pulled 225 for the first time. Three months ago they couldn't lift the bar.
This is what a training arc looks like. Your arc is waiting.
ANIME HOOK POST
Rock Lee couldn't use ninjutsu. So he just outworked everyone.
No shortcuts. No talent. Just reps.
You have gym access and 45 minutes. Rock Lee had less. Your excuse just ran out.
Content Strategy

4 Pillars. Every Post Fits One.

A content system that keeps the feed balanced and the audience engaged. Every post Andrew creates fits one of these four categories — and the category determines the format, the tone, and the goal. No more staring at a blank screen wondering what to post.

01

Arc Moments

Client PRs and transformation milestones. The emotional core. Celebrate loudly.

  • "Power Level Unlocked" posts
  • Episode Recap format (client PRs as anime episodes)
  • Before/after strength comparisons
  • Client quotes + Andrew's hype reaction
02

Anime Hooks

Scroll-stopping content that brings the audience in. The most shareable material.

  • Character physique challenges
  • "Who trained harder?" comparisons
  • Power Level graphics showing client stats rising
  • Training scenes edited with real gym footage
03

Teach the Lift

Form tips, myth-busting, beginner education. The Sensai Posts.

  • Anime-analogy form cues ("Goku doesn't hold his breath on a deadlift")
  • 15-second form correction reels
  • 5-beginner-myth carousel posts
  • Technique breakdowns via character comparisons
04

The Grind

Andrew's hustle, behind the scenes, personal journey. Authentic and raw.

  • Day-in-the-life: multiple jobs + training clients
  • Andrew's own training footage — cinematic, phonk music
  • Honest posts about the trainer grind
  • "Why I train" personal story content

Full Brand System. Client in Production.

Iron Arc is proof that the best brand work comes from listening to who the client actually is — not smoothing them into something generic. A trainer who cosplays isn't a liability. It's the entire differentiator. The brand leans into it completely.
